Dying Easter Eggs

When we got home from the zoo we dyed easter eggs. She was more interested in chewing on the whisk than putting the eggs in the dye...but she seemed to enjoy it! After we finished Cody and I were off on our 3rd date... I had bought tickets to the Grizzlies game for Cody's birthday not knowing that he would get two opportunities to get front row seats and the works before our chance to go...so we had these big plans to go down town, have dinner, and then go to the game..my did they change...on our way Cody said that he would just rather enjoy a nice dinner and not have to rush to get to the game...so we just went out to eat in Germantown, had yogurt mountain for dessert, went to pick up Liv's easter basket and then we were back home by 8:30! We talked about Liv almost the whole time....we saw all these families with their babies and it made us miss her even worse...we did however enjoy our time together!
Ohh what is this!

Lera's Gift

                      Meet our precious baby girl, LERA MICHELLE! Cody and I are choosing to share Lera’s story to hopefully encourage others that may have a similar journey and help change the way the world views Down Syndrome! At 11 weeks our OB at the time noticed a thickened nuchal fold and suggested we do a genetic blood test. Honestly, we didn’t believe anything would be detected with our baby, we were just looking forward to finding out the gender so early. The results came back, and the screening detected a 76% predictive value for Trisomy 21. Definitely not something we ever expected. And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given. Slumber Party in Liv's Room

This morning we woke up and Elsie had gotten Liv's baby doll crib out of the toy room and was hanging out in the crib in Liv's room. He must have had a long night at the North Pole...Christmas is only 6 days away!!!!
