Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

This weekend Cody, Larry, Janet, Bonnie, Jesse, and I met in Nashville for Carrie Crowell's wedding! We left the girls with my parents and headed on! Cody and I went to the green hills mall for a shopping spree, I had a mani and pedi from my favorite nail spa, and them we headed to Brentwood to the Cool Springs Mall and to get checked in to our room! The in laws put us up in an awesome hotel called Aloft! It was bad to the bone! J and B got to the hotel around  9:30 and we were all starving! We went for dinner at Bricktops! We got back and C, J, B, and I chatted and got all caught up! Saturday the guys had a golf match early so us girls went for breakfast at the Puffy Muffin! Bonnie had plans to meet some friends down town so Janet and I ran to the mall and then went back to hang by the pool! When the guys got back we headed up to our rooms to get ready for Carrie and Dan's wedding!

School is out so let the festivities begin!! First on our list was Walt and Liz's wedding! Walt is a long time friend of Cody's and is such a great person!! He was in our wedding and we haven't seem him since so it was great to catch up!! Liz is the sweetest girl ever and we are so happy for them both!! We drive down Friday so that we could attend the rehearsal and dinner! It was fun to meet all of Cody's friends from high school and college! Saturday we woke up early and went to eat at Shoney's! The girls got to the hotel around 12 and they were so excited!! They played and played and thought that the hotel room was the coolest thing!! Cody had to go for pictures around 2 so the girls and I took a nap and then started getting ready! The venue for the wedding was at the historic rock castle right on the old hickory lake!!! What a fun weekend! We have been non stop all weekend and have loved every minute of it!! Friday we took advantage of the great weather...we played outside, took a wagon ride, are a great supper, and watched the girls new favorite movie "Despicable Me!" Saturday we woke up early and had waffles and sausage! If you have never added brown sugar to your waffle mix it's a must!! My girls loved it!!! Then we headed outside to play! While we were playing Cody got a phone call from Keith the CFO of Jason's Deli asking if we wanted to go with him and his girlfriend to the Grizzlies play off game! We of course said yes! We finished up playing and then it was nap time! We dropped the girls off by Cody's parents house! We didn't get home until 2:30..this hasn't happened in a really long time! Sunday we decided it was time for Cody to get a new car...and boy was that an adventure!    

Mother's Day was so very special! Cody couldn't stand to keep the secret of what he got for me so Tuesday he spilled the beans....he booked us a trip to Cancun!!!! We will be leaving out the week of our 5 year anniversary! I am so excited and so appreciative of his thoughtfulness! Friday we went home to spend the night with my parents! It was Prom night for Dylan so we took pictures and had a big cook out! Saturday we all woke up extremely early (5:00) because of a big storm...Livia asked for pancakes so that's what Papa made! We were all so sleepy so we all laid back down around 9:00 and took a mid morning nap! Mom and Dad gave me my mother's day gift and I loved every bit of it! They bought me 3 new outfits for the beach! We got up and got ready to head to Jackson to go see my grandparents new house and to go eat with everyone!
