Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

Friday my mom came down to keep Livia while Cody and I went out to eat and spent some time together! We missed Livia terribly, but we had such a great night! We had dinner at Benihana's and it was very good! We had a lot of fun listening and secretly commenting on the family's conversation who sat at our table!! When we got home Liv was already in bed. Cody practiced putting and Mom and I laid in bed and just talked.. until 10:30!!! Talk about a late night! :-) Saturday Mom, Livia and I woke up and went to pick up breakfast! We then got ready and while Livia napped Mom and I went shopping! We found the cutest store in Arlington called the Paisley Rooster...it is where Sassafraz used to be and the clothes and prices were right up our alley!! Then we headed over to Sassafraz and shopped for Liv and Lai! We had the best day with each other!!! Mom headed home and Livia and I headed to Kate's birthday party! Kate used to stay at Mama Jane's and we love her and her Mommy! ...

Today was Cody's real birthday! Liv and I had made his favorite dinner, Crescent Chicken, the night before since I was off work and it was a big meal.... so tonight he chose to order pizza, he opened his gifts, and we celebrated the rest of the night by playing! It is hard for him and I to really believe that he is 29 and that we met each other when I was 18 and he was 21!!!! My how time flies! It has been the best 7 years of my life and I am so thankful for him! He has become the sweetest and best daddy to Livia...seeing him in this way makes my love for him grow even more! Lindsey came down on Thursday to stay with us for a couple days! She kept Livia on Friday! Livia LOVES her Aunt L...so much that even when I came home she wanted Aunt L to hold her! Saturday we had Taylor's gymnastic party...This time Livia jumped on the trampoline! Thank you Jane for helping me out!!! Sunday Cody's parents came down to celebrate Cody's birthday! We had lunch at O'Charley's and then came back home to have cake! I pushed Liv on a long car ride through the neighborhood....that car was the best gift! Monday we were off work for MLK day... so we went shopping for Cody's birthday presents and we stopped by to see him at work! He was sweet to make us lunch too! Teething on the toothbrush!   Livia has started wanting to lay in my lap! And I am loving it!!! Look at that wild bed head! We had to wet her hair for it to lay down! She loves putting on her Daddy's hats! Norah loved the trampoline! John is so swee...

You weigh 21 pounds! 12 months clothes are starting to get a little snug and the pants have become a little short! 18 months clothes her we come! You are snarling your nose....it is so funny! You are trying to climb and jump on everything! You are talking in your own way so much! You can get on and off your bike and chair by yourself! You have the funniest sweetest personality...if we ask for a kiss you'll smile so cute and run from us! You blow kisses! You can identify even more body parts...your eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, hair, ear, and elbow! Your newest word is doggie! When we ask...you can wipe your mouth, wipe you hands, sit on your bottom, and do multiple things! You are still saying dada all the time! You love to be outside!!! Even if it is below freezing!! Which we don't let you go, but you would! You eat a great breakfast, not so good lunch, and a pretty good supper! You are now sleeping in until around 7......

Today was the day we got to truly see our precious Lailee Tate! She was so perfect! She moved so much during the ultrasound! At one point she opened her mouth and stuck her tongue out a little...it was so sweet! Then toward the end she opened her little eyes! Her heart beat was 161. She was a bit bashful and kept putting her hands and arms up on her face. She had her ankles crossed too just like her big sister! Lailee looks a lot like Livia...the only difference we could see was that her lips look bigger and her nose has a rounder end! She looks just like an angel! Seeing her makes us so anxious to hold her. Cody said he was ready for her to live with us...I told him that she already does...but he meant he is ready to have her in his arms! My mom and sister came down to see her also! They couldn't get over how beautiful she was! Cody didn't have to work on Friday so he kept Livia home with him! He was so sweet to bring Livia and lunch to my work!! It was the best lunch break ever!! Livia loved checking out my classroom...she especially loved the bookshelves! My parents came down on Friday and pulled into my driveway at the same time as me! I looked forward to this all day! They couldn't wait to get their hands on Livia!! Livia showed them all her new toys from Christmas and of course we played with them all night! We got up Saturday morning and played for a while and then Mom and Dad left before the rain came in. The rest of the weekend was full of awesome playoff football games! Every game was exciting! We ate football party food all weekend and enjoyed our family time together! Livia was funny....even though T.V. does not hold her attention when compared to toys and playing (which is a good thing)...she would walk up every now and then look up at the T.V. like she was really into the game!  She...
