Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

At 27 weeks we had another ultrasound! Lailee cooperated perfectly and everything was beautiful! Her heart rate was 150. We even saw 3 teeth buds...how cool! She weighed around 2 lbs! She had her hands by her face just like Liv used to do!! 28 weeks has rolled around and it is the first time I have felt her have the hiccups! I had a dream about her and she had tons of dark hair. She is moving so much and they are big movements! My whole belly will shift! I love it! Here we are at 29 weeks and sleeping is something of the past! She is growing so big and loves to move around all the time! 30 weeks has arrived and we are getting so anxious to see our sweet Lailee! We have hit 31 weeks and our 4D ultrasound was truly amazing! She is beautiful and healthy! Her heart rate was 161. She is already in the head down position....and my dream was wrong...she only has a little hair in the back! Overall I have gained 28 lbs...only one more pound to being at my delivery weight with L...

This weekend was very productive! We celebrated Larry's birthday Saturday night. We went to dinner and came back to the house for cake and presents. Sunday I had tons and tons of energy and literally didn't sit all day long! I washed all Liv's NB- 6 months clothes that will be using for Lailee, organized them, and hung them all on hangers. I washed Lailee's car seat and cover. I washed the boppy pillow and cover....along with normal laundry, cleaned the house, and made a cake for a co-workers birthday! Looks like I am getting ready for a new family member to arrive! Janet went to the grocery store for me and made us dinner. They decided to stay another day, so I could go back to school and Livia could stay with them! Happy Birthday, G-daddy!

We headed home Friday afternoon to visit and celebrate my daddy's birthday...we haven't been home since Dec. 30..geez!!! My parents have been so good to us and have traveled to see us every time! We always have the best time and this time was no different! Lulu got Aunt L's old purse and carried it around like a big girl! She even had her cell phone case.  Liv loves her Aunt L so much! When she walks in the room Liv's whole face lights up and she stretches out her sweet little arms! Saturday we went to Jack's 4th birthday party! I can't believe his is already 4!! Thank goodness for my sister! She helped me so much! She even tackled the jump house! Liv was all about the basketball! She may be a basketball star like her Daddy! We all love this cake! You still love everyone...you are so friendly...all the mommy's from Jane talk about that when they get there you will reach for them to hold you! You jumped on a trampoline for the first time at a gymnastics party! When you see your friends you get really excited! You love to read books but your favorites right now are my baby can read..they are the words and you flip it up and its the picture...you bring them to us and turn around to sit in our lap and will literally read forever! You can wink! when you see something you like or something excites you..you take a deep breath in! You say uh but not oh! You say bubu for blanket! Your one year mo...

You weigh  22.5 lbs (50th percentile) You are 30 inches tall (50th percentile) You are still wearing 12 months, but we are transitioning into 18 months! You are still in size 4 diapers. You have started pointing to words in books. Aunt L taught you say ahhh after you take a drink of something. You can touch most all of your body parts. The only ones you haven't identified are your legs, arms, and knees! You have started copying everything we do! You still love everyone...you are so friendly...all the mommy's from Jane talk about that when they get there you will reach for them to hold you! We started Valentine's Day art early in the week so we could send them to Emmi, Papa, Gran, and G-daddy! They love and look forward to getting Liv's artwork! We used paper towel holders to form the hearts! With a little assistance the hearts turned out perfect! We made strawberries and cream puppy chow for Liv's friends at Mama Jane's! Good morning Love Bug! Her new gorilla was waiting on her! She loves to sit in our laps and so she turned around backwards to sit in Miss Gorilla's lap! If this doesn't make you smile I don't know what does! Livia was such a big sweet girl! She walked all the way to Mama Jane and handed her the treat we made and her gift card! She is getting so big! We took a stroll in her cool wagon! When Cody got home we gave her the gifts we bought for her! We wanted to get her something that she was truly into!  She loves her bean bag and new blankie! She ope...

This weekend was great! Both sets of parents were in town and Saturday was Lailee's diapers and wipes shower! Diana Raney hosted the shower with the help of my third grade team! It was very low key and turned out perfect! We celebrated at Macaroni Grill! We were all able to sit at the same table which made for tons of good talk and laughs! Our family and friends that came were Mom, Dad, Janet, Diana Raney, Kizzy Barbee, Lindsey Townsend, Gina Gore, Carol Harrison, Regina Johnson, Stephanie and Haley Goodman, Jenny Carter, and several people were there in spirit :-)....Ali Mills one being you!!! Thank you all for all the diapers and wipes and other happy's for Livia and Lailee! We are soooo blessed....and I can't leave out many more friends that were not able to come, but have sent gifts through the mail and hand delivered things earlier in the week!
