You still love everyone...you are so friendly...all the mommy's from Jane talk about that when they get there you will reach for them to hold you!

You jumped on a trampoline for the first time at a gymnastics party!

When you see your friends you get really excited!

You love to read books but your favorites right now are my baby can read..they are the words and you flip it up and its the picture...you bring them to us and turn around to sit in our lap and will literally read forever!

You can wink!

when you see something you like or something excites you..you take a deep breath in!

You say uh but not oh!

You say bubu for blanket!

Your one year molar has popped through!

You said Emmi for the first time a bunch on February 10th!
When you hear music you have moved on from bouncing up and down to SHAKING YOUR SHOULDER!

You are so so so smart! It is amazing how many new things you have started in the last month! Just a couple that have impressed us are you constantly want us to do your pull out picture/word cards and your books that have the picture with the word. Before we even show you the picture you can make the sound of the animal or point to your body part......or something that lets us know you can read the word and know what it means! AMAZING!!!!!

The other night we had been watching Doc McStuffins and you laid in my lap and I wrapped you up and said lets cuddle!!! You got up and went to your toy box and got Lambie...which let us know that you know Lambie is the one that likes to cuddle on the show!!!

Lera's Gift

                      Meet our precious baby girl, LERA MICHELLE! Cody and I are choosing to share Lera’s story to hopefully encourage others that may have a similar journey and help change the way the world views Down Syndrome! At 11 weeks our OB at the time noticed a thickened nuchal fold and suggested we do a genetic blood test. Honestly, we didn’t believe anything would be detected with our baby, we were just looking forward to finding out the gender so early. The results came back, and the screening detected a 76% predictive value for Trisomy 21. Definitely not something we ever expected. And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given. We cried, we were mad, we prayed and processed and prayed some more. We shared the results with our closest family and friends and just like us, they prayed over our baby daily. After t...
