Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

Livia nursery is coming together slowly but surely! I've picked out her crib, dresser, changing table, rocker, and storage unit....I've only purchased a few of these items! I hope she likes everything! I'm going for more of a modern nursery...this stuff is definitely not your traditional baby furniture...and I love it!!! Take a look! Can you say retro rocker...she will be rocking in style!!  This picture shows more of how the storage unit will look when it is mounted on the wall. We are going to place the storage unit over her dresser so it will look similar to this actual picture.

Livia has mastered "the kick" this week! However, we have not mastered Cody getting to see "the kick"......so I decided to put my phone on my belly so that it would be more noticeable and he wouldn't miss it! It worked!!!! I love watching the movement that she makes! We are trying to figure out what her interest are going to be by saying to her....."Livia if you are going to be a golfer...kick now"...or... Livia if you are going to be a cheerleader...kick now." My favorite question to ask her is if she is going to be a momma's girl or daddy's girl! Cody likes to think she is going to be a major daddy's girl...we'll see! I love that we have so much fun with her and she is just in my belly....I can't wait to experience how much fun she is going to be once she is born! Only 4 more months!!!!!

Today is our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast time has passed! While we were on our honeymoon, we made a promise that each year we would take turns choosing somewhere to go on vacation to celebrate....this year was Cody's year to pick and of course since we are having a baby he decided it would be smart to save the money. I was completely content with his choice! So instead of being on vacation, we were able to do something even more special for our anniversary....we were able to see our sweet baby today! After our doctor's appointment we came back home and got all dressed up and went out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants....PF Chang's.  For the 20 week ultrasound I was allowed to have two people in the room with me....Cody's mom came down since she had never seen a ultrasound of Livia. She was amazed! Livia wasn't very active today....she yawned at one point during the ultrasound so we figured she was sleepy! The ultrasound tech was able to...

I bought Livia's bedding set today!!!! I have been interested in this bedding and crib for over a year. I decided that I would go ahead and buy the bedding today so that I can get started on her nursery before I have to go back to work. I'll be buying this exact crib and the set that goes with it at a later time! I really like this bedding because it's fresh, chic, and sophisticated. I don't really like themes or the traditional designs of baby bedding......so this fit what I was looking for perfect!

Livia's Emmi bought her this precious little bunny pinafore dress and bloomer outfit! I just love it!!!!
