Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

We spent Friday and Saturday hanging out with Cody's family since his brother was in town! Livia loved playing with Jesse and eating his chocolate pie! She was very interested in him. She "officially blew his mind" according to Twitter... with how she could work an I phone and show him how old she was and all her little tricks! He was a proud uncle and of course believes she got her brains from him! :) Cody had to work Sunday so we met my momma and daddy in Covington to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant! Yum! When Liv saw them her little face lit up! She was just as excited to see them as they were her! We all hung out in the car while I nursed Lailee and then we headed to Walmart to buy some play clothes and really just spend time with each other! Liv and daddy explored the store while momma, Lai, and me picked out play outfits! When it was time to leave Livia would not come to me.. She had her head on her Papa, legs wrapped tight, and would not let go! Poor baby......

This week was the first week back to work and Mama Jane's! I am really excited to say that everything has gone really smooth! Cody and I sat down to make a schedule that would work best for the girls and me in the morning and I have followed it to a "T"! Cody and I get everything ready the night before and he puts everything in the car. I wake up at 4:30, feed Lai at 5:30, get Liv up at 6, and leave the house by 6:30! Every morning this week I have found a sweet note in the seat of my car which totally makes my day! Friday the note was in my lunch! Cody has always been so sweet about leaving me notes in my lunch when he sends it, on my windshield, in my car, in my wallet...etc...but over the last several months we haven't left each other very many, so it was nice to get one each day! Work has been a little stressful this week being that it is TCAP week! However, Mrs. Gore has been so great to help me with my pumping schedule which relieved a lot of stress for me! Whe...

Monday we played outside, took a stroll on the golf course, and played some more when Cody got home! We love this weather! Samantha had Waylon on Monday, which meant we had to go get some baby love on Tuesday...I love every excuse to go home! He is a perfect 8 lb 15 oz baby boy!! I left the girls with Momma and Daddy and got to hang out with Samantha, Toma, and Waylon for a few hours! Wednesday we played at Emmi and Papa's until it was time to go back home! Thursday we played. Then Lucas came over to play with Liv and Diana brought my computer to me!!! Yay!! Friday I went back to work and Janet came over to watch the girls!

You laugh every time something falls. You seriously never meet a stranger... for example you wanted random people to hold you at the mall. You shake your booty when you walk...you aren't doing it to be sassy...Grandmomma Dean walks this way too! You smile all the time!!! You are so happy! When you want something bad you do a funny smile with your bottom teeth on top of your top! You rode the carousel at the mall! You can wink! You can tell and show us how old you are! We look so forward to the weekends so we can spend all day with each other!! Friday I was chomping at the bit to get home to my babies!! When I walked in the door Livia came as fast as she could to me with her arms wide open and a big smile!! Lailee was snoozing away! I missed them soooo bad!! One of my room moms made dinner for us, so I didn't even have to worry with cooking! I could just enjoy the girls and Cody! Saturday we stayed home and played until Cody went to play golf...we rode with Janet into town to do a little shopping! That night Cody and I went out to eat..this is the third weekend we have done this! It is really nice having Cody's parents right down the road for many reason and this is one of them! We love the few hours we get to spend with just each other on the weekends now!! Lailee loves the Mamaroo! You weigh 9 lbs 6 oz. You are 23 inches tall. You are wearing all newborn clothes. You are wearing newborn diapers. You eat every three hours and it takes you 15-20 minutes you are doing wonderful! You like to cross your ankles. For the first week you liked to be swaddled and laid in your bassinet to sleep...now you fight to get your hands out! You are so mellow or chill as your daddy calls it!  Our house is filled with giggles, squeals, cries, and playing from Livia and it doesn't phase you a bit...and btw we know you can hear because you passed your hearing test VERY quikck! Your umbilical cord fell off in exactly 1 week. When you nurse you put your left hand by your face! You went to the mall! You went to the Arlington park! You make a laughing sound...it is too cute! You are so strong...you hold your head up and look around! You love Livia...when you cry she will go over and talk to you an...

It was a great weekend to go to the Zoo!!! Saturday Cody and I took the girls and enjoyed the afternoon! Livia was so vocal this time! Every time she would see an animal she would gasp and talk!! This time the panda bears were the favorite! Every time we saw the panda sign she would point! We ended the day by having a treat...Dippin Dots!!! Liv was in heaven!!!
