Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

Mom had her first chemo treatment Monday, August 26th exactly 2 months from the day she had her surgery...she did great! It wasn't bad at all that day! We met them at Costco afterwards and shopped and they didn't get home until 12...But day 2, 3, 4, were not so good! She never threw up but she just had flu like symptoms, very weak, and really tired! Day 5 she felt better than day 4 and by Saturday, Day 6 she was yard selling, laughing, and her voice was energetic!! So now we know that the feeling bad only last a few days and then she has a whole week to feel good before the next treatment!  Celebrating at Costco! My sleeping beauty Livia is tearing off the chains! The countdown is on!

I don't know why this week was so draining...but it was...and I couldn't wait to enjoy the weekend with my family!! Saturday Cody had an early tee time, so the girls and I went for a stroll! Lailee can ride like a big girl now and Livia loves it just as much as she does! After that we enjoyed some much needed pool time! We dropped the girls by Larry and Janet's and then went to Collierville for dinner!  Sunday we took the girls back to Shelby Farms! This time after we played we took them down by the lake! We fed the ducks and they literally came all the way up to us! Livia was so excited!!! We went grocery shopping and then headed home for naps! The girls have been off on their naps and going to sleep at night...allergies and teeth are giving them a fit, so I'm hoping that gets better really quick! Weekends go by so fast but I sure am thankful for all the time I get to spend with my babies! All 3 of them!!

Friday we played until dinner and then did the nightly routine! Cody and I put the girls down and then we tried to stay up to have a little alone time together before bed, but once we laid down we were both out!!! Saturday we woke up early and headed to Shelby Farms! It was the perfect day to play and go for a walk! It was our first time to visit the playground! We all loved it! We mainly played on the slides! Lailee even got in on the fun! Liv and Cody raced Lailee and me down the slides!! They won! After we played for a while we were hungry for lunch! We are still using the gift cards my class got us from the end of the school year! So we picked Cheddar's! It was very good! They have a really cool aquarium that Liv loves! The whole way home Liv talked about the "ish"...she knows the way to her daddy's heart! He said we might just have to go get her a "ish"...we shall see! Potty training was a breeze!! Your signal to me is uh mommy!!!! I know it's time to potty!! Went to a birthday party and even told me you needed to potty while in the jump house! Amazing!!! When we say who loves you the most you say Emmi...she has asked/told you this from birth!  You can do anything on our phone or IPAD.  You can say the alphabet You can swing all by yourself. You can climb the ladder on your playset by yourself!  You can say anything and everything! My favorite is...I love you... You say I love be!  You love for us to chase you! The face you make and your laugh is priceless!  You are so smart! We love when we are reading to you and you will point out letters are say the names! You mostly do A but you can identify B, C, D as well! You are on the go all the time but you do take the time to stop and talk to Lailee and we truly believe thus is the highlights of her day! She bell...

You weigh 13.8 lbs (25th percentile) You are 25 inches tall (25th percentile) You are so so so pretty!  You smile all day long...even when you cry you smile!!! Your Emmi did this as a baby too! When I walk out of your sight you get upset!  You love to be loved on and held but when it's time for naps and bedtime you want to be laid down! However, your daddy likes to rock you to sleep and you don't mind that a bit!  You press your lips together and make noises with you mouth! When Livia just as much looks your way you laugh do hard!! You make this excited face and you say ooo ooo ooo! We dropped your 5:00 feeding so you are eating 4 times a day! We introduced you to your lovie...Lucy the owl! You instantly wrapped her up in your arms and put you fist in your mouth! She made you so happy!  You are a blankie girl! Jane said the other day you were a little fussy... She laid your blanke...

No matter how much time passes by....missing HOME never gets easier! So I take advantage of every chance I get to go HOME!!! We had a wonderful time! Cody and I were going to go eat on Friday, but Momma had cooked a "Michelle Dean" dinner that we couldn't pass up! Ham, hash brown casserole, green beans, slaw, rolls, cranberry sauce, and sweet tea...it doesn't get any better! Every bite Livia took ended with an UMMM!!! Haha! We played outside until it was time for baths and bed! Saturday we woke up pretty early! Liv never sleeps late when we are home...and I know why...its because she has so much fun with Emmi and Papa so she doesn't have time to sleep in! It was a rainy day but that didn't stop any of us! We played in the rain all day! Cody and I went out to eat and Momma and Daddy got there own time with the girls! My Nana and Mr. Ronnie came up to visit! They are all about the girls! We ended the weekend by having a yummy breakfast made by Livia and Papa! ...
