Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

We started this special weekend by talking with Livia about Jesus and what he did for us...every time I would say Jesus she would look up to heaven... So sweet! Friday we dyed Easter eggs at Emmi and Papa's. Saturday we took Livia and Lailee to the Arlington Easter egg hunt...we met Diana, Ali, Mama Jane, and all the kiddos! As soon as the hunt began it started to sprinkle, but that didn't stop us! Livia found 6 eggs with the help from Cody! We then had them take pictures with the Easter bunny! Liv was not so happy about this, but at least she didn't cry! Lailee slept through the entire thing! Cody and I went searching for matching Easter dresses Saturday night because the dresses I had got made for them did not fit and I even sent them back to be adjusted!!! Sunday we went to church. I wish I could say it was a great message, but neither of us heard a word....the "cry room" was full of crying and playing kiddos! Larry and Janet came over that afternoon for Easter...

I can't believe I have been off for 3 weeks already...it literally seems like I was just in the hospital having Lailee! I LOVE being off with my babies more than anything! We have so much fun! We play, read, snuggle, laugh, talk, sing, go on walks, watch tv, eat, and nap....how much better could it get??? They are so perfect and I am so excited to spend another 3 weeks and then the whole summer with them!!  This girl loves jumping on the couch and knows she isn't supposed to!!                My sweet Lailee just sleeping away!  

Last week when we went for Lailee's newborn check up she had lost 6 oz so Dr. M wanted her to come back to make sure she was gaining weight... She weighed 7lbs 2 oz...woohoo!!! So happy because when breast feeding my biggest concern is how to know if she is getting the hind milk....and the only way to truly know is by if the are gaining weight!! Yay!

I love getting in the car and looking to my left and seeing Cody and looking in the back and seeing my two girls!!! Life is so good!!! It was cold and rainy on Saturday so we decided to take a trip to the mall and let let Livia ride the carousel! This was her first time and she really enjoyed it... She really wanted to do the jumping thing but of course she was too little...but try explaining that one to a 16 month old! When we finished up riding we stopped by the hot dog stand and had a cheddar dog and it was so good....especially since I have been watching my portions and snacking.... 27 lbs down 9 more to go! Summer is very close!Sunday we hung out at home and then janet and I went to bargain hunt while the guys played with the girls! Janet was looking for baby stuff and she did really good! We found a cool high chair, an awesome car seat, a mattress for the pack n play, and a EverEarth garden activity cube!
