The last trimester countdown!
At 27 weeks we had another ultrasound! Lailee cooperated perfectly and everything was beautiful! Her heart rate was 150. We even saw 3 teeth buds...how cool! She weighed around 2 lbs! She had her hands by her face just like Liv used to do!!
28 weeks has rolled around and it is the first time I have felt her have the hiccups! I had a dream about her and she had tons of dark hair. She is moving so much and they are big movements! My whole belly will shift! I love it!
Here we are at 29 weeks and sleeping is something of the past! She is growing so big and loves to move around all the time!
30 weeks has arrived and we are getting so anxious to see our sweet Lailee!
We have hit 31 weeks and our 4D ultrasound was truly amazing! She is beautiful and healthy! Her heart rate was 161. She is already in the head down position....and my dream was wrong...she only has a little hair in the back! Overall I have gained 28 lbs...only one more pound to being at my delivery weight with Liv!
I have slept so good this week!! Yay to 32 weeks! My belly was wider with Livia and is stinking out farther with Lailee...I keep thinking to myself how can my belly stretch anymore??? I haven't had any major cravings up to this point...but my cravings for chocolate milk were strong this week!
33 weeks and the Braxton Hick contractions are here to stay! I have decided to not be so stubborn and stay off of my feet more! As hard as it is and as lazy as I feel..it really does help! Lailee has stopped moving as much at night, but she is still a busy girl during the day! I always feel her on the right side of my tummy!
34 weeks
I have been very anxious this week! I feel like I need to pack our bags, wash all Lailee's clothes, get the pack n' play ready...just everything! I am normally not an anxious person so I am not used to this feeling...Lailee is moving so much, but not at night!
35 weeks
This week I had a doctor's appointment...it was the day before Valentine's Day and my sugar was a bit too high! I will definitely be watching this. I have gained 32 lbs so far which is 3 lbs more than my delivery weight with Liv! Lailee had her head down and turned to the right on the right side of my tummy. Her bottom was under my chest and legs and arms were on the left side. My cervix were completely closed which means I am safe to see Dr. Taylor in 2 weeks!
36 weeks
Oh me the ITCHING has started! Thank goodness right now it is only at night and it is not bothering me while I sleep. This is when it started when I was pregnant with Livia and then I had her in 2 weeks. Hopefully it will either go away or I will have Lailee in 2 weeks! I read certain parts in my parenting book and refreshed my memory on the schedule I will follow for Lailee and how to discipline a toddler! I have laid the girls outfits for the hospital, but I haven't packed any bags just yet!
37 weeks
Cody says I must be sick...I have had so much energy and have literally been nonstop! Through the week I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned some more! I found a 15 minute a day cleaning schedule to follow on Pinterest that I will begin when I become the mommy of 2! Over the weekend I went through all Livia's NB-6 months clothes to see what I could use and what I might need. It was so much fun to reminisce and look at all the tiny little gowns that my Livia wore! I can't wait to see them on Lailee! I really do not need to buy anything for the first couple months! YAY!! I washed all the clothes, organized them by size, and put them on hangers. I have been needing another shelf and hanging rod in Liv's closet so Larry went out and bought one and even put it in for me! I washed all the pack n play bassinet stuff, both car seats, and the boppy pillow! We are on our way to almost having everything ready for Lailee when she decides to make her grand arrival!
The itching has increased...but I can handle it...anything for a sweet baby! I have definitely dropped, and people are so funny to tell me. I have started having low low abdominal twitches and spasms. I go to the doctor Wednesday so stay tuned in!
The doctor's appointment was good. Lailee's heartbeat was 140. Her head was down, but she was flipped on the other side of my tummy this time. My cervix are still completely closed and I am due to see him next Monday for an ultrasound to see Lailee's fetal weight. He is predicting that she is already bigger than Livia's delivery weight. I have gained 34 lbs which is already more than I did last time! We shall see!
38 weeks
Monday was another checkup, but this one was to have an ultrasound to see how much Lailee weighs!! She is weighing 6.10 lbs...however the ultrasound tech said they always overestimate...so probably more around 6 lbs. I didn't realize she would do another 4D, but I was so excited when she started showing me Lailee in 4D! I felt good the beginning of the week but as the week has gone by I have started having trouble sleeping and I am pretty uncomfortable!
34 weeks
