Sleeping Beauty!

It has been two weeks since Livia started sleeping in her crib! She has done awesome! She has been sleeping through the night in her bassinet since about 6 weeks, so I didn't feel like it would be a big deal for her to sleep in her crib...AND it wasn't! She has been sleeping from around 8:30 to 7:00!!!! She is such a great sleeper!! Keep up the good sleeping our little sleeping beauty!

Lera's Gift

                      Meet our precious baby girl, LERA MICHELLE! Cody and I are choosing to share Lera’s story to hopefully encourage others that may have a similar journey and help change the way the world views Down Syndrome! At 11 weeks our OB at the time noticed a thickened nuchal fold and suggested we do a genetic blood test. Honestly, we didn’t believe anything would be detected with our baby, we were just looking forward to finding out the gender so early. The results came back, and the screening detected a 76% predictive value for Trisomy 21. Definitely not something we ever expected. And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given. Slumber Party in Liv's Room

This morning we woke up and Elsie had gotten Liv's baby doll crib out of the toy room and was hanging out in the crib in Liv's room. He must have had a long night at the North Pole...Christmas is only 6 days away!!!!
