Beach Trip #1

Day 1

Woohoo!!! Schools out!!!!! I got off of work at 10 and we left for the Orange Beach at 11:45. I was worried that all the beach things that I had ordered wouldn't be in by the time we left....while I was at work mom and dad saw the UPS truck and got the stuff off the truck for me!!! There the best! We thought that it would take 6 hours, but it actually took 8....Livia took a few naps and so did I...I had a touch of the stomach bug so the drive for me was pretty rough!!! We also got pulled over and got a ticket... we got to the condo and they didn't have any of our stuff so we had to meet the manager at another location to get our key!!! Geez...we knew it had to get better!!! But what really matters was us getting to spend quality time with my parents!

Day 2

Saturday morning we woke up to watch the sunrise and then we headed out to let Liv sink her toes in the sand and take a dip in the ocean for the first time!!! We set up the beach tent and played at the beach for a while...we saw several people that we knew from Dyersburg! While Daddy talked to the Fowlkes' family for over an hour Livia took a nap on him! Momma and I played in the ocean and laid out!!! We had fun!! We came back up for lunch and then headed back down to the pool!!! Livia dipped her face in the water and didn't even cry!!! She loved the water in the ocean and the pool! Around 3 Liv and I went up to the room for an afternoon nap! After she woke up we went back down to the beach for a little bit...we ate supper, gave Liv a bath, and we were both down for the night!

Day 3

Sunday we woke up around 7 and had breakfast...we played in the condo and got packed up for the beach...Mom and Dad went down to the ocean and Liv and I stayed in the room...she took a 2 hour nap so we didn't get out until 11..we stayed at the pool today! Momma took Livia up for lunch and she finally ate her cereal!!! Yay..she has her appetite back!! They came back down and we played in the pool for a little longer and then it was back up to the room for her afternoon nap!! She took another 2 hour nap! Eat...play...sleep is what we did this trip...I expected it to be a lot different and I loved every second of it!! We went to Doc's for dinner and it was yummy!!! We asked for cocktail sauce and they said you make your own...they had all the ingredients on the table for you so that's just what we did! It was horseradish, ketchup, worstshire, and tabassco sauce...Livia has learned that she can squeal REALLY loud and she likes it just a little...needless to say from now on we are going to eat at restaurants that have a loud atmosphere!! :-) We came back to the condo and played then back out for some ice cream! We had a fun fun day!! Momma and daddy decided that we needed to stay an extra day so we aren't leaving until Tuesday...which means we don't get to see Cody for another day!!! We miss him terrible!

Day 4

Monday we played at the beach and made a small sand castle for Livia. Today's catch was a dead baby shark that a little boy had found! We headed to the pool until Livia's nap time! I laid out on the balcony while Livia took a 3 hour nap! We went back down to the pool and played with several little girls who loved Livia and she loved them! After playing we went up to get ready for supper! We had dinner at Oyster House Boardwalk...it was super yummy! We visited their gift shop and bought a few things! My favorite was the picture frame that says This is my happy! When we got back Daddy and Livia played hard!!! Then it was off to bed for us!!! We have missed Cody so much and can't wait to see him!!

Day 5

Tuesday we woke up early, finished getting packed, and got ready for our pictures on the beach! We took the pictures right before it was time to leave which fell right before Liv's nap, but she did pretty good and they turned out great! Thank you Momma! Cody met us in Jackson and was hoping that Livia would smile and be happy to see him and boy was she!!! She smiled so big and grabbed his face!!! It was precious!
