Janet's birthday weekend!

We headed to Nashville Friday to start celebrating Janet's birthday! Her actual birthday is on Monday, so we just made a whole weekend out of it! We had a great dinner made my Larry Friday night! We woke up Saturday and started our day! We had big plans to shop, shop, shop...but those changed...it was so hot and humid that we had lunch at one of our favorite places, the frothy monkey and then we were headed to all sorts of places! Livia was ready for a nap by that time so instead of fighting that battle we just headed to what we thought would be a peaceful home! When we arrived they were putting new carpet in the upstairs apartment right on top of Larry and Janet's!!! Talk about frustrating!!! We could hear every staple being put in, when they would roll the carpet, the whole process!!! But luckily Livia slept through every bit of it!!! That night we went to Bricktop's for Janet's birthday dinner...it was yummy! We came back and did presents and birthday cake! We got her a year subscription to her Interior Design magazine and Larry bought her an Ipad! She was super excited!! Sunday we woke up and watched the Wimbledon mens final match...then since the boys were home we left Liv with them and Janet and I headed out to try our shopping adventure again! We went to West Elm first! I finally found/bought the perfect panels for our bedroom and Liv's bedroom! Haha.. it has only been a year since we moved in!! I am in the process of creating the finishing touches for Liv's nursery...all the ideas I have seen for nursery walls haven't suited me... so instead of doing something out of trying to have her nursery finished just to be finished I have waited for the perfect inspiration/idea and have finally found it!! Anyways back to the shopping adventure....after purchasing the panels I didn't want to do anymore shopping...I had spent too much!! So we headed to Whole Foods and then went home!

Outside of Bricktop's...Love this... especially of Janet!
Her tongue makes us all laugh!!
Opening gifts...Liv was a good helper!

Her chocolate cake!

May your wishes comes true!
Haha while we were watching the match I taught Liv how to wrap her hair when she gets out of the shower...it fell over, but made for a cute picture!
She looks like a sweet pirate!
She has started tucking her lip into her mouth!
We had a great weekend!
