Up...Up...and Away...

We drove into Nashville Friday afternoon...we visited, ate dinner, and then we were off to bed for an early morning adventure to the airport! Liva was super excited and decided to get up at 3:00 she did go back to sleep, but I was pretty much up trying to do last minute packing, bottle making..you know the mommy stuff! We made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare! Cody walked us to security and then we said our goodbyes! Livia did great on the plane...she was awake for the take off and asleep for the landing! There was quiet a bit of turbulence as we entered Houston, but it didn't bother her one bit..she slept right through it!

When we got to Hobby Airport we took her first shuttle ride to the car rental center! She liked this too! I didn't pack many diapers, wipes, formula...etc because of space, so when we got our car our first stop was to Target! We were really hungry so we picked up lunch at Panera bread!

We arrived at Mamaw's and she had lunch waiting on us...so of course we ate again! Mamaw was so excited to finally meet Livia! Mamaw has 12 great grandchildren and Livia is number 11 in line! We visited with Mamaw and then all the Aunts started arriving! Aunt Karen and Uncle Bob were first and boy were they glad! Livia put on a show for everyone all night long! We were worried she would be sleepy, but sleepy was not on her mind ! We had a "big moment" while uncle Bob was holding her and Aunt Karen was talking to Livia she laughed 3 times! It was the most precious laugh ever! They could not get over how much she laughs and cuts up and how great her personality is! We all went to Mexican for dinner and it was great! We had soooo much fun! I am so blessed to have married into such a close, fun, lively, loving family! I wish we could see them more often!
