This year our family was sent an Elf on the Shelf! We watched the Elf movie before our Elf arrived so that we could get really excited about it. All of a sudden our door bell rang and Livia ran to the door. The package was waiting for us. We immediately opened it up and to our surprise it was our Elf! Livia and Lailee were so excited...they wanted to touch him so I kept him in the box and let them touch that way! He jumped to our mantle and that is where he sat for 4 days to watch the girls play and learn his way around the house. He even showed us how funny he is by taking Livia's play doggy's bone and put it on as a bow tie. Sunday morning we woke up and Livia wanted to watch the Elf movie...as soon as the elves bump into each other she looked up on the mantle and said "Where's Elsie?" We went around the house looking and then we found him...On Sunday, December 1st, Elsie made his grand arrival by making us breakfast! On the menu was snow covered donuts (powdered donuts), North Pole pancakes (whip cream with sprinkles), santa hats (white chocolate covered strawberries), and North Pole punch (Hot Chocolate). Livia and Lailee loved everything! He also left a note to the girls! Elsie is a sweet and funny Elf that does not create or teach mischief but only gives us a good laugh!
