Whose report do we believe

We shall believe the report of The Lord! We met with Dr. Fleming (the surgeon) on Monday to hear the results of the pathology report. They took out a total of 12 lymph nodes and 10 had microscopic cancer cells in them. The doctor was very happy with the decision to do the double mastectomy. He also was pleased that the other two nodes did not have any cancer in them because to him that meant he got it all! The 2 tumors were a little bigger than we thought one was 2 cm and the other was 2.5 cm. There were also early stages of cancer throughout her breast tissue. With these findings plus my mom being so young...chemo and radiation will be the plan...chemo is used to attack and kill any cancer cells that could have spread throughout her body and radiation will be used to focus only on the left breast that so that the cancer never comes back! We don't know details on the therapies, but we will next Monday. It was hard hearing all of this today, but we are staying positive and putting this all in God's hands.
