First time playing outside

After we got home from work and Mrs. Julie's house we decided to play outside! The weather was so warm today! Livia loved being outside!
This looks like she is thinking really hard about wanting her picture taken!
She was so happy

Love these blue eyes!

Rock Your Socks for Lera {SAVE THE DATE}

Image
We are extra excited to celebrate our first World Down Syndrome Day! Join us as we “Rock our Socks” for Lera!  March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD), the day the Down syndrome community creates a single, global voice advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome.  Every year, on March 21, people all around the world come together to celebrate by wearing brightly colored or mismatched socks.  March 21 is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. This blog will be printed and used as Lera’s baby book. If you choose...

And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given. We cried, we were mad, we prayed and processed and prayed some more. We shared the results with our closest family and friends and just like us, they prayed over our baby daily. After t...
