Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

When we got home from Church and a Costco run I took Liv's clothes off of her so she could get busy playing..not that she can't play with clothes on but she was in her church clothes! She needed her diaper changed as well...so instead of immediately putting one back on her I let her have a little freedom....well she started making the face like she was going to do #2 so I ran her to the potty and she accomplished her first time using the big girl potty! Hahaha..pretty funny!! Good job Liv!!

Monday- Liv and I headed up to school to finish up a few things and then we went to the pool for an afternoon swim! We are getting great use out of the pool! Tuesday- We played at home and went for a swim! Wednesday- We met my 3rd grade team, except for Ali, at O'Charley's for lunch...It was great to catch up with everyone! Thursday- We hung out at home and went for a swim! Friday- We had a swim date with Lucas and Diana at their house! Diana and I had more fun than the babies...when Liv was down for her nap Lucas was awake and when he was down for his nap she was awake! So we got caught up on a lot!

You weigh 18.6 lbs. You are 27 1/2 inches tall. You are still wearing size 3 diapers. You are wearing 9-12 month clothes. You went from crawling to sitting. (7months 1 week) You waved for the first time at Dalton and Camryn Harrison. (7 months 3 weeks) You have two bottom center teeth that popped through! (7 months 3 weeks and 5 days) You have a two baby dolls...you have mixed emotions about the purple one but love the pink one! You are pulling up on EVERYTHING!!! You have tried zucchini, strawberry, plum, barley, amaranth, chicken, spinach, rasberry, blueberry, purple carrot, potatoes, brown rice I say "be careful" a lot these days... When you see a picture of someone that you recognize you smile and makes this little noise with your nose! When you see Addy or Zoe at any time you smile so big and you make this noise like you are saying come here and you slap your hand down. You give the baby kisses in the mirror! It is oh so...

Momma and Daddy came down Friday to help me with my classroom, but mainly to watch Liv while I worked and then to help me with Livia's photo session! Cody won't be home until Sunday, so they stayed all weekend with us! We went shopping Friday night...Livia found the feather boa's and couldn't keep her hands off!! We all think she is going to be a girly girl...I love it! We then had dinner at Jim & Nick's! Saturday we hung around the house all day...Liv's photo session wasn't until 6:30, so I didn't want her to miss any of her naps!  We were worried about the weather because of all the rain..so we had to come up with a back up plan quick! So Shannon met us at the house and the rain did too! We ended up all getting into the car and driving away from the rain...it took us to the Arlington Square...we took pictures on the porch at the Happy Heart which had some awesome props that turned out perfect for her pictures!!! We also used a few more places ...

It has literally rained at some point every day this week which is definitely what we needed! It has limited us to mainly all indoor activities which is ok with us! We know how to have fun anywhere!  Monday we went school supply shopping! Oh how I love to buy new things for my classroom! It was more fun this year because I had Liv's input..if you hold two or more things in front of her she will choose one or the other! She has good taste! Tuesday we went to the pool for a little while, but it was cloudy which made it a bit cool so we didn't stay for long!  Wednesday Today was Cody and my 3 year anniversary! It's hard to believe that we have been together for 6 years and married for 3! Ziggy was so sweet to keep Livia while Cody and I went out to eat! We had dinner at Houston's and then yogurt at Menchie's! Ziggy took Livia to VBS with her and she loved Zig's dad!  Thursday We went out shopping to find a few more things f...

We headed to Nashville Friday to start celebrating Janet's birthday! Her actual birthday is on Monday, so we just made a whole weekend out of it! We had a great dinner made my Larry Friday night! We woke up Saturday and started our day! We had big plans to shop, shop, shop...but those changed...it was so hot and humid that we had lunch at one of our favorite places, the frothy monkey and then we were headed to all sorts of places! Livia was ready for a nap by that time so instead of fighting that battle we just headed to what we thought would be a peaceful home! When we arrived they were putting new carpet in the upstairs apartment right on top of Larry and Janet's!!! Talk about frustrating!!! We could hear every staple being put in, when they would roll the carpet, the whole process!!! But luckily Livia slept through every bit of it!!! That night we went to Bricktop's for Janet's birthday dinner...it was yummy! We came back and did presents and birthday cake! We got h...
