Lailee's 8 months updates

You weigh 18 lbs.

You are wearing 9-12 months clothes. 

You are in a size 3 almost 4 diaper.

When you get excited you roll your wrist and ankles at the same time.

You hold your on bottle.

You have started eating the organic baby food pouches and you can hold it on your on..I help push the food up!

You take a morning nap around 11:00 and an afternoon nap around 5:00.

Your two bottom teeth have pushed through and it is so cute!
You make this face that we call an old woman face...hilarious!
You are talking so much!

You are sticking your tongue out when we do!

You are trying to talk so much! Dada, papa,mama are the 3 things you have said and in that order!

You and Liv have really started playing together! You watch her every move!

You went trick or treating for the first time! You were the prettiest little Cinderella around!

You love taking baths with Livia!! She loves to bath you and you let her!

Lailee, 
You are our precious angel from heaven! Everything you do is perfect! Your smile, your laugh, the way you sleep and eat...literally everything!!! You are so easy going and make our lives so wonderful!! We constantly talk about how sweet and good you are! God knew just what we needed in our family to make it even more!

Lera's Gift

                      Meet our precious baby girl, LERA MICHELLE! Cody and I are choosing to share Lera’s story to hopefully encourage others that may have a similar journey and help change the way the world views Down Syndrome! At 11 weeks our OB at the time noticed a thickened nuchal fold and suggested we do a genetic blood test. Honestly, we didn’t believe anything would be detected with our baby, we were just looking forward to finding out the gender so early. The results came back, and the screening detected a 76% predictive value for Trisomy 21. Definitely not something we ever expected. And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given. We cried, we were mad, we prayed and processed and prayed some more. We shared the results with our closest family and friends and just like us, they prayed over our baby daily. After t...

Slumber Party in Liv's Room

This morning we woke up and Elsie had gotten Liv's baby doll crib out of the toy room and was hanging out in the crib in Liv's room. He must have had a long night at the North Pole...Christmas is only 6 days away!!!!
