Staycation

Oh me what a wonderful week! Cody took a week of much needed vacation! We decided to have a staycation this year! Sometimes when you go out of town for vacation it ends up wearing you out... especially with two babies, so we decided to just hang out and enjoy the week of doing whatever we wanted to do! Liv spent most of the week getting over double ear infections! I'm so thankful Cody was home, because she wanted her Mommy to hold her a lot which made it hard to hold Lailee too....but we got through it! Lailee was a jewel! She is the BEST and sweetest natured baby I have ever met..Yes I know I'm her mommy, but I'm serious and I am sooo thankful for her!! Monday we chilled around the house! Cody and I took turns picking something out for dinner for each day of the week and he went grocery shopping for us! We took turns cooking dinner all week... It was fun! We had to skip Kindermusik on Tuesday because of Liv's fever...boo! Wednesday, Cody took care of the girls while I ran to the doctor for my little procedure! No babies for us anytime soon...2018 to be exact! They had a ball! He is the best daddy to our girls! Thursday Janet and Larry kept the girls while Cody and I went out to the FedEx St. Jude Classic golf tournament! We had a great time following Phil Mickelson! Friday after the girls nap we were on our way to Shelby Farms to take the girls to the discovery park, but we got a flat tire and then it started to rain so we had a change of plans! Saturday we went to the Children's Museum...we were IMPRESSED to say the least! Livia loved every bit of it...Cody and I enjoyed just as much if not more!!! Sunday we had planned on going back out to the golf tournament, but I got a sticking migraine, so Cody and the girls hung out with each other! We really had the best week! I wish Cody could be off with us all summer!
