First purchase for Miss Livia!

 How much fun this is going to be shopping for a baby girl!!! I love shopping in general, but I didn't realize how many adorable things they have for little babies!
I bought Livia this cute little bib...I just think it is going to fit her personality perfect.... = )


I don't want to buy too many outfits because who knows if Livia is going to be a small baby or a big baby... but I just had to buy something....I thought this would be cute for the week of Valentine's Day! Hope it fits!


 She'll be ready for the 4th of July!






 I love all the cute Christmas outfits!! I have a feeling she is going to have tons...thank goodness she will have 25 days to wear them all!!

Lera's Gift

                      Meet our precious baby girl, LERA MICHELLE! Cody and I are choosing to share Lera’s story to hopefully encourage others that may have a similar journey and help change the way the world views Down Syndrome! At 11 weeks our OB at the time noticed a thickened nuchal fold and suggested we do a genetic blood test. Honestly, we didn’t believe anything would be detected with our baby, we were just looking forward to finding out the gender so early. The results came back, and the screening detected a 76% predictive value for Trisomy 21. Definitely not something we ever expected. And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given.
