Livia starts PreK-3!

What a big bittersweet day....we cannot believe that our baby is starting PreK-3! It blows our mind that she is almost 4 years old and that she is big enough to go to Preschool. We chose Macon Road Baptist because we believe it is an amazing school with a great curriculum and a lot structure. School is just not like it used to be, so we think the earlier we can start preparing our girls the better! The PreK-3 program is a great transition...not too overwhelming for a 3 year old. Their instruction is in the morning, then lunch, nap, recess, and then the best part...time to pick her up! Livia has been so so excited about starting school! She has played dress up with her uniform, packed her lunch with all her Melissa & Doug food, packed her backpack, and played school...EVERYDAY since her backpack came in! It has made it much easier on us that she is so happy about going. All 4 of us went this morning! We drooped off last minute things in her class and she met her teacher! Then we were off to the cafeteria to wait! When the teacher's came to get their classes...Liv did get a little nervous and didn't want to line up...she wanted her mommy...she didn't cry though! I held it together in front of her...but I did shed a few tears a few times.... ok...maybe a lot of times once we left! It made me a little weepy too that Lailee was going to be a Mama Jane's for the first time in her life without her sister! Lailee did awesome too...but I know they will be so excited to see each other this afternoon!

Look at this sweet girl! Talk about melting our heart!
She looks so big!
This was Lailee's first day ever to be without her sissy! She missed her terrible, but of course had the best attitude about it!

They have been together in daycare since birth...and now they are still together in school!
Sissy wanted to feel important too!
Thank goodness for good friends who were there to take a family photo! Love you Doodah!

Be still my heart!

Mrs. Duane's 1st day of school gift!

We packed her lunch together! She is such a good eater!
Mrs. Stephanie sent us this picture and reported that she ate it all! We were so happy to get this!

Mrs. Stephanie is God sent!

This was our first picture that was sent to us around 9:30!  Our sweet girl was doing awesome!

She got a high five for the day! She was so proud and we were too!
After a long day and she was all smiles!

Her first coloring assignment and we were were so proud of her writing her own name! I was also a proud teacher!
