4th week of summer!

Monday mom had her surgery. She had a total hysterectomy, Oophorectom, and a Salpingectom. This was done because age gas the brca1 gene. Everything went smooth and thee was no sign of anything suspicious! Praise God!! 

My sister and I couldn't sleep so we talked for a while!
Tuesday we played at park and went swimming!




This angel baby wanted me to take a nap with her so that is just what I did....my babies are growing up so fast and you can't t get these precious moments back...the house cleaning can totally wait!!! MELTS MY HEART!!!!!
Wednesday we did some morning chores, played at the park, went to jump and jamz at CSI gym, then went swimming! 


Lailee loves anybody and anything...she would pick these ducks up if they would let her!

We are more ATTACHED to each other than even before!!!
Thursday we played in the backyard and swam in the tiny kiddy pool! Then we pulled out all the girls means of transportation and they had a car wash!

Friday Cody stayed home with us! This is our favorite! We went swimming early! 
This was the first time the girls have ever napped together...this makes my heart happy!
Saturday we had a birthday party at the children's museum splash park!

Lera's Gift

                      Meet our precious baby girl, LERA MICHELLE! Cody and I are choosing to share Lera’s story to hopefully encourage others that may have a similar journey and help change the way the world views Down Syndrome! At 11 weeks our OB at the time noticed a thickened nuchal fold and suggested we do a genetic blood test. Honestly, we didn’t believe anything would be detected with our baby, we were just looking forward to finding out the gender so early. The results came back, and the screening detected a 76% predictive value for Trisomy 21. Definitely not something we ever expected. And the way it was presented to Cody and me made us leave the appointment scared, confused, and in denial of the results we had just been given.
