Our 1st Christmas Eve...just the 4 of us!

Image
This year we had no plans....as far as being with family for Christmas Eve....so we did our own thing with just the four of us and we had a ball! We started the day off by making cookies for Santa!  Cheese! Liv changes clothes a lot...and yes she is in her gymnastics outfit. Roll that cookie dough baby girl! We then headed to church for the Candle Light Christmas Eve Service! It was a beautiful message!  We then headed to Shelby Farms' Starry Nights light show! The girls were so excited because they were able to get out of their car seats and sit up front with us! It was a great experience and the girls, Cody, and I loved it!  When we returned home we made our reindeer food and put tons of glitter in it so the reindeer were sure to see our house! This is one of my favorite Christmas Eve traditions! So sweet! Lailee was so precious sprinkling her glitter around!  I love this picture so much! My little red nosed...

Jesse+Bonnie....New Orleans Style!

We have been so excited about this weekend for a while now! And it finally happened! We arrived to New Orleans around 12:00 am Friday morning. The streets were filled with people and there were lights everywhere! It was BEAUTIFUL. When we drove up to The Hotel Mazarin...Janet, Larry, Claudia, and Uncle Rodney immediately came to help us unload our house...or at least that is what it looked like! We stayed up until 2:00 am to welcome and give our love to Jesse and Bonnie!   Friday we slept in and then went down to breakfast. We visited with family and friends. It was really cool for everyone to stay in the same place! We then took a look around the hotel! It was really a pretty hotel! Well...Cody had Best Man duties to fulfill and I was in full mommy mode! The girls and I had so much fun with each other! Friday night on the agenda was rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Acme Oyster Bar. I cannot describe to you in words how amazing the food was. You must go! It was buff...
