Life with Liv, Lai, + Lera

I love being off work for tons of reasons, but high on the list is that we get to make random weekly trips back home!! Because of the threat of bad storms and I was anxious to get to my sister we went up Tuesday! Linds had a terrible wreck on Sunday and I just needed to see her and love on her..everyday, multiple times a day I plead the blood of Jesus over each person in my family.... I know this is one of many reasons her life was saved!! Thank you, Jesus for protecting her and us each and every day!!! We arrived around 10 and the playing began! It was a beautiful day and staying inside was not an option! Liv is an outdoors girl and would stay outside all day long if we let her!! Lailee enjoyed being outside too! Nana and Mr. Ronnie came to visit and boy did Liv keep Mr. Ronnie busy! We woke up Wednesday and Liv insisted she go to work with Emmi and Papa...so of course that's just what she got to do! When they came back home we headed outside to enjoy another beautiful day! ...

Livia is a true definition of a snacker...she goes to the pantry or refrigerator and will let you know what she wants...but of course we are the ones that have allowed it. Cody and I both love to snack too. But all the snacking was causing Liv to eat very little of the good nutritious stuff during lunch and dinner. Cody and I were raised on totally opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to food...and as parents we decided that we would compromise....we wouldn't be so extreme with the healthy food thing, but at the same time we wouldn't allow tons of unhealthy foods either! So Liv has had very little of her goldfish, cookies, veggie sticks...etc this week and she is back to being the good little eater she used to be!

We couldn't stand not seeing Emmi and Papa any longer so we took a road trip to Newbern to stay for a couple of days! It was a beautiful day so we played outside a lot! Both sets of my grandparents came by to visit with the girls...I love watching my grandparents' faces light up when they see them! They are crazy about them! We grilled hamburgers and enjoyed each others company! We even took a little stroll in our new double stroller! Thanks daddy for putting it together! Friday we dyed Easter eggs We made it and Emmi couldn't wait to get her hands on Lailee! Liv has always loved looking out this door! If this isn't picture perfect I don't know what is!
